Congratulations and Best Wishes on your engagement!
Your wedding day is one of the most important and exciting days of your life. Planning the perfect wedding you have always dreamed of, no matter how simple or elaborate takes careful and thoughtful planning. Your reception following your wedding is
also important. It is the first time you will appear in public as husband and wife and have an opportunity to entertain your family and friends. Selecting music is important for it can help create the perfect mood and atmosphere that
memorable receptions are built on.
At least one hour before the event we will arrive at the reception hall, properly attired. Couples feel comfortable knowing that before they walk down the aisle, we have begun to organize our equipment, making it possible to greet your guests with dinner music and a relaxing atmosphere, while they await your arrival. Upon your arrival, we will greet the bridal party, organizing and announcing their names and positions. After the bride and groom have been introduced, and are in their proper places, the invocation is given, followed by the toast. When most of your guests are finished dining, we invite everyone to turn their attention to the cutting of the wedding cake. This is usually followed by the throwing of the bridal bouquet and the removal and throwing of the bridal garter. The dancing of the evening begins with the first dance of the bride and groom (many brides and grooms begin their reception with their first dance). The bridal party may join them for the second dance if desired. Many times the next dance is set for the bride and her father to dance to, followed by the groom mother dance. After this, the guests are generally invited to join everyone on the dance floor. Of course, this is only a guideline which can be used for some ideas when planning your reception. It is your option to include, or exclude any of the following traditions; a pre-wedding information meeting is scheduled four to six weeks prior the wedding date.
At Sound Control Professional Disc Jockey Service we put the focus on bringing your special occasion to life and creating lasting memories for you and your loved ones. We work with you to understand your needs and plan an exciting event that meets your goals and expectations. We will do everything in our power to make sure that your event is exactly what you envisioned.
